# Bruno Ehrler Wins 2025 ACS Energy Lectureship Award

Big congratulations to **Bruno Ehrler**, Group Leader at **AMOLF**, and **Chair** of the Steering group of **SolarLab**, who received the **2025 Energy Lectureship Award** at the **ACS Spring Conference** in San Diego! **Bruno Ehrler** is leading the Hybrid Solar Cells group at AMOLF in Amsterdam since 2014 and is also a honorary professor at the University of Groningen since 2020.

The award was handed out by the **ACS Applied Energy Materials journal** and the **ACS Energy & Fuels Division**, with this year’s spotlight on *solar energy conversion*.

At AMOLF, Bruno’s team is doing cutting-edge work on **sustainable energy materials**, especially in **light management and new photovoltaic materials**. His group focuses on perovskite materials science, both on the fundamental level, and for device applications. Their research continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in solar technology, and this award is a great recognition of that.
